The Website is Live!

With Cohost coming to an end, I had to find somewhere new to host my writing. None of the current social medias seemed too good for that purpose in my eyes so I decided to look elsewhere and made my own website!

I hadn’t touched html in years, and what I do remember doing with all this time ago was very rudimentary, but I managed to pick it up pretty quickly! It’s maybe not the most impressive of websites, but I’m pretty proud of what I’ve managed to get together in only a week! (Technically less than that actually~)

It’s honestly been a lot of fun to build something like this from scratch! I had tried using a template when I first started but working from someone else’s code when I knew nothing proved to be more of a challenge than I was willing to tackle. Especially since it would break whenever I tried doing anything to the layout x3
It is way too easy to break everything with HTML honestly.

On top of teaching me basic coding skills, making this website taught me other skills and made me use tools I hadn’t touched in a really long time. For example: I used Krita to make the repeating pattern background with its wraparound mode (I usually use CSP for art nowadays).
I had never made a repeating pattern before but I’m particularly happy with how this one turned out for my first try!

So, what is the plan for this website?

The main purpose of this website is hosting my writing! All stories I decide to publish will be hosted here, in the Writing page!

Additionally, I will share my thoughts about whatever comes to mind in this blog. I don’t have any specific plans for this blog so expect a bit of everything ;3c

My website also comes with an RSS Feed! Make sure to check it out if you want to get notified whenever I post something new~
